Product Overview
Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-6Mo wire is a high-strength alpha-beta titanium alloy wire designed for demanding aerospace and high-performance industrial applications. With higher molybdenum content than Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo, it offers increased strength potential and good performance in elevated-temperature service when supplied in the appropriate condition. It is commonly used for critical structural parts and hardware where a strong strength-to-weight ratio and corrosion resistance are required.

- EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate available
- Chemical analysis and heat/lot traceability available per order
- AMS/ASTM compliance available when specified at purchase
Notes and Precautions
- This is a heat-treatable alloy; final properties depend strongly on processing route, diameter, and heat treatment. Specify required condition and property targets when ordering.
- For welding or joining, use strict inert gas shielding and cleanliness controls to prevent oxygen and nitrogen pickup.
- Do not substitute for Ti-6242 or Ti-6Al-4V without confirming chemistry, heat treatment, and design allowables.
